About Us

Hello, and welcome to the blog of "The Biz Team". Our group is composed of five MSU students, each of us are business majors focusing on a different study in the broad spectrum of business. The group we have has a shared passion and interest in the various job opportunities, career paths, and skills in the world of business. Here at our blog of diverse business interests, we focus on differing topics, ranging from building resumes, how to network, politics and business, ethics of business, and many more. One of the reasons we all have a shared interest in business is the importance that it has in the world economy. Every town, city and country operates in an economy and business is the basis of that. Business is fascinating to each of us because it is highly influential in how the world operates and it affects virtually everybody. Business also holds an enormous amount of opportunities whether it is through starting your own company with your own unique ideas, or finding the opportunity to work for hundreds of thousands of different businesses and seeing the relationships, challenges, and achievements that occur as part of a business. Business is constantly growing, and the different avenues someone can take in the world of business is what brings us all together, we all love the study of business, just different aspects of it. Our main goals as we write this blog is to learn more about the world of business, spark new interests, connect with readers, and inspire new ideas and passion for business. As we are just starting out our college careers, there are countless different aspects of business we haven’t learned yet, we want to share what we learn with interested readers, and hopefully they discover new things from us as well. Our blog team is diverse in where we came from and what we are interested in, we hope that as we work together and research business topics, it will inspire both us and our readers careers to find their passion in business. As bloggers, we hope to write research that is both interesting and important, and if we can do this, our blog readers will hopefully enjoy and learn new information from us. Now, as we said there are five team members for this blog, here is a little more information on the individuals…

Grant: Hello everybody, my name is Grant Williams, and I am going into the study of Finance here at Michigan State. My hometown is Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and I attended Bloomfield Hills High School. The reason I am interested in business is because both of my parents work in business, and my Dad actually has his own company. I wanted to go into Finance because I felt there are many different job opportunities that would be available to me under this degree. I see myself in the future possibly being an analyst for a company or investing money. A little bit more about myself, I enjoy playing golf and love watching football, I also work on a golf course in the summer time. I am an outgoing, social person, which I think will benefit me in my major as I build relationships and get to know more people.

Liz: Hi all my name is Liz Liber and I am a freshman here at Michigan State University studying Business Management. I have already begun to learn about perseverance and how I have to work hard if I want to succeed. This is a lesson that I will take with me as I move through my years here and especially when I want to enter corporate America. Nothing will be just given to me I will need to prove myself over and over again. Anything worth having is worth working for and a spot high on the corporate ladder sounds like something worth working very hard for.

Austin: My name is Austin, and I am an accounting major at Michigan State University. I like many different athletics such as golf, soccer, and biking. I enjoy solving geometric puzzles, and I also like to practice solving other different types of puzzles. In addition, I have a great appreciation of contemporary and past forms of art. Also, I enjoy using the internet to learn about new topics, concepts, and research articles. Regarding my field of study, I hope to learn more about accounting and business as a whole. Lastly, I want to do well at Michigan State University and improve my knowledge of business practices and writing.

Riki: My name is Chen Zhehui from China and I am a statistic student at Michigan state university. I’m now a good talker but a good listener. I change my major to statistic two weeks ago, that will be a big challenge to me to introduce this major. I hope I can handle this. I am trying to study the direction of data collectors and analysts, I think these two occupations is multi-faceted, it will help me to find more job opportunities. I hope that I can have more opportunities in the process of learning to learn a deeper level of knowledge

Hello, I am Jack Hill from West Bloomfield, Michigan. I am a Freshman at Michigan State and I am majoring in business. I played varsity lacrosse and soccer in high school.
